Primary Purpose:
Provide technical support for district-wide instructional platforms, software integrations, and classroom technologies. Manage the lifecycle of digital applications, including Classlink, Google Workspace, and the website, while ensuring efficient resolution of support tickets and occasionally providing direct training to staff.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
- High school diploma or GED
- Clear and valid driver’s license
- Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Knowledge of instructional hardware, such as Chromebooks and Windows
- Ability to diagnose software conflicts, account sync issues, and hardware-to-software connectivity
- Ability to diagnose technical issues, implement effective resolutions, and provide clear feedback on progress and outcomes
- Strong communication skills for creating user documentation and video tutorials
- Preferred proficiency in Classlink (SSO/Rostering), Google Admin Console, Active Directory, and/or website
Experience:
Preferred 3 years of experience in technical support, specifically focusing on educational software
and systems integration.
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Technical Support
1. Manage, assign, and resolve technology-related incidents in the ticketing system and manage the department’s support phone line as the initial point of contact for troubleshooting.
2. Communicate with staff at assigned campuses and district offices, both in-person and using the help desk work order system, to maintain excellent technology support.
3. Manage district apps, SSO integrations, and rostering within Classlink.
4. Provide technical assistance to users of computers, instructional equipment, and software.
5. Perform administrative tasks in Google Admin Console and cross-reference data in Active Directory to resolve account issues.
6. Manage and update the Instructional Technology website, ensuring content is cohesive and organized for all technology departments.
7. Review and whitelist websites in GoGuardian and administer the Veracity Technology Management System to ensure program compliance and visibility.
8. Assist with communication between campus staff and other Technology department personnel to ensure issues are addressed and resolved.
9. Troubleshoot and maintain classroom technology ecosystems, including GoGuardian, Google Workspace, Canva, Eduphoria, and Learning.com.
10. Evaluate software and hardware for district initiatives.
11. Utilize Little SIS to manage and troubleshoot Google Classroom environments and provide support for Eduphoria and website management Inventory
12. Administer the Technology Management System to ensure all programs are updated, categorized, and visible to staff.

13. Compile, maintain, and file all physical and computerized reports, records, and other documents.
14. Comply with policies established by federal and state law, State Board of Education rule, and local board policy.
15. Comply with all district and campus routines and regulations.
16. Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
