About the Role
As our Wholegood's Inventory & Sales team member, you'll play an important role in making sure we have the right equipment, in the right locations, at the right time. You'll work closely with our sales, parts, service, accounting, and management teams to keep inventory moving, support our customers, and help our dealership achieve its goals.

What You'll Do
- Accurately place retail and stock orders with vendors in a timely manner
- Manage stocking levels based on sales goals, product changes, market trends, and customer demand
- Maximize current manufacturer order programs, including Early Order Programs (EOP), Multi-Unit Discounts (MUD), and other available opportunities
- Develop strategies to reduce aged new inventory and help the dealership meet its sales and inventory goals
- Keep equipment information in our dealer business system and dealership website accurate and up to date
- Coordinate the transfer of new equipment between dealership locations
- Locate and transfer equipment from other dealerships to help meet customer needs
- Work with the Parts Department to identify attachments and accessories needed based on seasonality and market trends
- Coordinate the setup of stock equipment with the Service Department
- Conduct monthly physical inventories of wholegoods at all dealership locations
- Assist with external inventory audits to ensure inventory records remain accurate
- Communicate equipment availability and order status with the Corporate Sales Manager, sales leads, and sales team
- Work closely with Parts, Service, Accounting, and other departments to keep operations running smoothly
- Manage the return of John Deere Envirocrates and reconcile outstanding monthly lists
- Assist salespeople with evaluating used equipment values (ACVs)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area
- Take on additional responsibilities and special projects as needed
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoys being part of a team. The ideal candidate will have:
- 3 years of sales experience
- Knowledge of John Deere equipment, programs, and the agricultural equipment industry preferred
- Experience with John Deere sales applications preferred
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles, including interest rates and budgets
- A basic understanding of order fulfillment processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, internet-based applications, and standard desktop software
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred
