The Property Inspector will work under the leadership of the Inspections Manager and Director of Maintenance in coordinating and assisting tenants' service needs, as well as assist Area Managers in the property inspection process. The Property Inspector must meet and maintain the requirements of the Employee Handbook.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Travel to multiple properties, both vacant and occupied, as inspect the property for any damage or maintenance concerns
-Communicate with Tenants in regards to inspections using MiddleTown Property Group Policy for Tenant Communication.
-Put in Maintenance Request into Property Management Software.
-Follow up with prospects utilizing MiddleTown Property Group Follow-up Policy.
-Maintain knowledge about properties and maintain updated leasing information about properties.
-Complies with Fair Housing Laws and Standards.
-Attend all MiddleTown Property Group meetings.
Qualifications
-High School Diploma
-Preference of minimum 1 year of Customer Service Experience
-Preference of minimum 1 year Property Inspection
-Preference of having a general knowledge of maintenance.
-Preference in skills with self-management, time-management, and tenant interaction
- Must have a clean background
- Must have a reliable phone data plan for inputting information into company app
-Must have a reliable car for transporting to and from multiple properties within East Central Indiana with a valid license.

-Ability to sit in front of a computer for an extended period of time
-Ability to be on your feet for an extended period of time
-Ability to drive for an extended period of time
-Ability to use hand and arm for writing and/or typing
