Position Summary:
The Referral Coordinator is responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients and staff. This position will place/receive phone calls and effectively communicate with insurance companies, adjusters, referral sources, patients and other departments. Must be able to multi-task and pay attention to detail for accuracy.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma, or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of electronic medical records
Experience working in healthcare
Experience working as a secretary or in a customer service field
Experience with medical terminology
Comfortable working with computers
Experience with healthcare insurance
