Position Summary:
The Rehab Technician works both collaboratively with the therapist and independently carries out specific patient-related activities to assist in patients’ rehabilitation while hospitalized. In accordance with the maintenance schedule, cleans and maintains department supplies and equipment.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
1 year experience as either a Patient Care Tech, CNA, Medical Assistant or similar or enrolled in a healthcare related education program.
Basic computer skillsacv
Ability to communicate with all members of the healthcare team
Able to work both independently and with a team
Preferred Qualifications:
Flexibility and adaptability to work with a broad range of patients
Able to motivate patients to participate in their care plan
Able to follow instructions well
Organizational skills
Experience with electronic health records
Experience with safe patient handling techniques and equipment
