Position Summary:
A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a paraprofessional who works under the supervision of a BCBA. The RBT is primarily responsible for direct implementation of treatment plans related to skill-acquisition and behavior reduction protocols based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to children/youth with Autism and related developmental disabilities. RBT’s also collect data and provide support when needed including assisting with parent training.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates Degree and complete 40 hours of Registered Behavior Technician training and successfully completed certification program
Experience working with children in the 0-18 age range ideally in a classroom or 1:1 setting
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human services field
Experience implementing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis
Educational or speech services experience
