MRI Technologist

Position Highlights

• Department: Diagnostic Imaging

• Hours: Per Diem

The MRI Technologist selected for this position will have the opportunity to pick up shifts at any of our locations (Middletown, Marlborough and/or Westbrook, CT)

Position Summary:

The MRI Technologist, using independent judgment, performs a wide range of imaging procedures as well as:

• Assists physicians and provides patient care essential to imaging procedures

• Exercises professional judgment in the performance of procedures

• Applies the principles of teamwork in all aspects of providing patient services

• Assists new employees and students in training, as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography program

• ARRT Certification in good standing; or eligibility to obtain the ARRT Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of EPIC EMR system

• BLS Certified

• AS/BS Degree is preferred

• Google (G-Suite) platform experience
