Undergraduate Internship Program - Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office - 2026

Overview

Thank you for your interest in the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office. Our 2026 Undergraduate internship program is approximately 11 weeks. Individuals interested in these positions must have completed their 1st year as an undergraduate student at an accredited college or university and be actively enrolled to further their pursuit of an undergraduate degree.

Responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Resume and Cover Letter must be uploaded within the posting window dates: 

• • Spring - 5/1/25 - 9/1/25
  • Summer - 9/1/2025 to 12/31/20245
  • Fall - 1/1/26 - 5/1/26

• Must be an undergraduate student attending an accredited college.
• Individuals who are actively attending an accredited college and who have completed their freshman, sophomore or junior year are eligible for consideration for this position.
• Paid internships are only offered during the summer session and are currently paying $15.49/hour.
• Individuals who have completed their junior year will be given preference for paid internships during the summer session.
• Those individuals who are majoring in criminal justice, homeland security, or other area of study that we interpret as related to law enforcement & entering their senior year will be given preference.

Note:

• Individuals who have completed their undergraduate studies are not eligible for participation in this program.
• Those individuals who are majoring in criminal justice, homeland security, or other area of study that we interpret as related to law enforcement, will be given preference.
• If it is determined that an individual who has expressed an interest in the intern program lacked candor in his/her responses, resume, cover letter, application or interview or supporting documentation, the individual will immediately be disqualified from the process.
• If the individual is offered the position, or was selected as an intern by this office, and it is later determined that he/she had falsified any document submitted in support of his/her candidacy for the position or lacked candor in any phase of the screening process, he/she will be removed from the internship immediately and the reason for the removal noted in the personnel file of the individual in question.
