Key Responsibilities
- Develop accurate labor, material, and schedule estimates from project documents.
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs and analyze subcontractor bids.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, architects, owners, and internal teams during preconstruction.
- Create and manage project schedules, budgets, and cost tracking.
- Work closely with Project Superintendents to review scope, pricing, and project execution.
- Maintain subcontractor bid lists and actively solicit qualified bidders.
- Conduct pre-bid walkthroughs and preconstruction meetings.
- Review proposals, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor project costs, billing, labor expenses, and financial performance.
- Maintain organized project documentation and records.
- Communicate changes in scope, pricing, and schedules clearly and proactively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Technology, Construction Engineering or 3 years of Project Management / Estimating experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft software
- Experience with or willingness to learn PROCORE management software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Professional demeanor with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Adaptable and solutions-oriented mindset.
