Responsibilities

MidAmerica National Bank, a locally owned financial institution in central Illinois has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, Commercial/Ag Banker to lead our lending efforts in Eldridge, IA. This is a key leadership position ideal for a motivated professional with a strong lending background and a passion for community involvement. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage a diverse portfolio of moderate to complex commercial and ag loans.
• Seek and build new commercial and ag relationships through proactive outreach.
• Analyze financial data, assess creditworthiness, and negotiate loan terms.
• Guide customers through loan processes, ensuring compliance with lending policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal regulations.
• Participate in community activities to enhance business opportunities.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and operational efficiency.
• Lead, mentor, and manage loan administrative staff.
  
  

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 5 years of progressive experience in commercial/ag lending.
• Strong knowledge of financial analysis, credit principles, and loan structures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Goal oriented with the ability to focus on a goal and obtain a pre-determined result
• Sales ability to gain acceptance of bank products and services.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop a team.
