What are the responsibilities and job description for the Order Selector position at Mid Valley Family Foods LLC?
Essential Functions:
Inspect assigned pallet jack and reach lifts for safety and functionality before use.
Accurately input data into productivity tracking systems.
Identify correct pick locations and sequences in accordance with pick orders.
Select the correct items and quantities by verifying UPC codes or item descriptions.
Place pick labels properly on the side of cases.
Report miss-located products immediately to management.
Secure pallets by shrink-wrapping and labeling with the correct information.
Stage completed pallets in appropriate designated bays.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, free of debris and hazards.
Promptly report potential safety threats to a supervisor or manager.
Operate pallet jacks and reach lifts safely and efficiently.
Follow all company policies and immediately report any violations.
Build stable, correctly cubed pallets for safe transportation.
Park and recharge equipment appropriately at the end of each shift.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Support and assist in the execution of Food Safety and Quality Systems.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED required.
One year of warehouse experience preferred.
Forklift certification preferred or ability to become certified.
Hourly- $27.81-$30.90
