Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers and spray guns.
- Execute residential and commercial painting projects with attention to detail, including wall coatings, trim carpentry and caulking.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols on construction sites and handling all equipment responsibly.
- Manage time effectively across multiple projects while ensuring high-quality results that meet client expectations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential painting along with construction site experience; familiarity with commercial painting is a plus.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as caulking guns, putty knives, brushes, rollers, scaffolding equipment, and power tools including airless sprayers.
- Basic math skills for measurements and estimations are essential. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately is a plus.
