Mid-State Petroleum Equipment, Inc. (MSPE) is a full-service petroleum equipment contractor, headquartered in Hallsville, MO. MSPE provides construction services for retail fueling stations, commercial fleet fueling terminals and general-aviation and self-service fueling facilities throughout Missouri. MSPE supports our customer network with on-call equipment service.
MSPE has an immediate opening for an entry-level Construction Laborer who is looking for a place to grow and make a career.
In this position, you will work as part of a team to install Tanks, Piping, Electrical and Mechanical Systems that operate fueling facilities. Examples include service stations, marinas, transportation companies and more.

Requirements:
- CLEAN AND VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE - NO EXCEPTIONS
- Must be drug free and able to pass a background check
- Physically fit, able to climb ladders, stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, be in confined spaces and lift 75 lbs
- Polite, neat, clean and professional demeanor
- Self-motivated, mature and responsible - able to work as a team member or independently.
- A positive team player; opposed to complaining, gossiping, and negativity
Ideal Candidate will be/have:
- Able to follow direction and learn specific processes
- Understanding of basic construction tools and processes
- Strong safety record
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to think critically and problem solve
- Able to work in any weather
- Both mechanically and electronically minded
- Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
- High school diploma
