Mid South Rehab Services Inc., Ridgeland, Mississippi, is hiring a Director of Human Resources to join our Employee Support Center TEAM.
Basic Function
The position is responsible for administering human resource policies, programs and practices and employee benefit programs: including planning, organizing, developing, implementing, coordinating, and directing. Duties include formulating policies and procedures for the Human Resources Department and recommending policies and practices to Senior Management.
Nature and Scope
The position reports to the President and CEO. General knowledge of the principles and practices of human resource administration; knowledge of sound techniques in all aspects of human resource management; knowledge of the organizations and operations of administrative programs; ability to develop long-term plans and programs and to evaluate work accomplishments; ability to apply and adapt practices and techniques to the special requirements of senior management; ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with other management staff, employees, and the general public; ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form.
- Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related field; and two (2) years Human Resources Management experience, or
- Baccalaureate Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field; and five (5) years experience in Human Resource field
- PHR or SPHR preferred
- Proficient in computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel and Access
- Must possess excellent organizational, time management, and leadership abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
