The Role: Fire Life Safety Systems Inspector
The Fire Life Safety Systems Inspector plays a critical support role, working to ensure expert inspection and testing services across multiple product lines at various commercial and industrial sites.
Key Responsibilities (“What You’ll Do”)
- Expert Inspection and Testing: Perform all phases of fire safety inspection and testing across varied and multiple product lines.
- Technical Execution: Proficient with data entry and email utilizing laptop, smart phone and tablet.
- Company vehicle and tool operation and maintenance: Safely and effectively utilize a variety of hand and power tools essential to the trade. Maintain company vehicle and tools according to company policy.
- Safety First: Comply with company safety policies and always utilize required PPE.
- Client Communication: Communicate professionally and courteously with clients, and others, always representing the company with integrity and professionalism.

Required Qualifications (“What We’re Looking For”)
We are looking for a reliable, motivated individual who meets these essential requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in fire safety inspection role. Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions.
- Licensing & Certifications: Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record (required). State licensed (Louisiana and/or Texas) in Fixed Fire Suppression/Fire Extinguishers/Sprinklers/Fire Alarm (required). NICET II-certified or working towards certification.
- Compliance: Ability to pass a mandatory background check and drug screening prior to employment.
- Physical Ability: Basic knowledge of hand and power tools. Ability to carry and move equipment and tools up to 50 lbs.
- Additional Preferred Skills: Backflow Preventer certification and/or OSHA 30 certification.
