Job Summary
Mid-MO Precision Concrete is hiring an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead concrete crews on residential and light commercial projects. This position is for someone who knows concrete, can manage people in the field, and can make sure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high-quality standard.
The right candidate will be able to lead from the front. You should be comfortable reading job details, organizing the crew, setting forms, checking grades, managing pours, finishing concrete when needed, and communicating clearly with ownership, customers, and team members.
This is a key leadership role with strong pay and room to grow as the company expands.
Responsibilities
- Lead concrete crews on daily jobsite operations.
- Manage site prep, forming, grading, pouring, finishing, saw cutting, cleanup, and final walkthroughs.
- Ensure work is completed to company quality standards.
- Read and follow project plans, measurements, layouts, and job instructions.
- Coordinate materials, tools, equipment, and crew assignments.
- Train and guide crew members on proper concrete techniques.
- Help perform hands-on concrete work when needed.
- Maintain jobsite safety and enforce safe work practices.
- Communicate project progress, issues, material needs, and schedule updates.
- Keep jobs moving efficiently and help prevent delays, rework, and waste.
- Represent the company professionally with customers and other contractors.
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites.
Qualifications
- Strong concrete experience required.
- Previous foreman, crew lead, or supervisor experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to form, pour, grade, and finish concrete at a professional level.
- Experience with driveways, sidewalks, patios, garage slabs, approaches, curbs, footings, and flatwork.
- Ability to lead a crew and hold team members accountable.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to plan ahead and keep jobs organized.
- Comfortable working outdoors and performing physically demanding work.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Equipment operation experience is a plus.
