What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mortgage Loan Processor position at Mid Minnesota Federal Credit Union?
General Purpose: Processing mortgage loan applications from the time of receipt of application to the time that the loan funds.

- Responsible to maintain the highest standards of Integrity, Personal Responsibility, Sense of Community, and Teamwork by self-example within and outside Mid Minnesota Federal Credit Union.
- Responsible for building member loyalty through an uncompromised commitment to meeting and exceeding members' expectations.
- Responsible to develop and maintain relationships with credit union members by determining member needs and maximizing all opportunities to sell additional credit union products and services.
- Conduct the daily processing requirements of the real estate lending program to ensure members receive loan decisions in the shortest time frame possible. Review applications for accuracy and completeness and compliance with credit union policies and secondary market guidelines.
- Calculate and disclose all TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure (TRID) requirements. Process verifications of mortgage, deposits, loans and employment. Order required reports; appraisals, hazard insurance coverage (flood insurance coverage if applicable), title insurance report, Owners and Encumbrance reports and plat drawing.
- Package and submit mortgage files to our contract or internal underwriter for approval when all information necessary for underwriting has been received.
- Review and audit loan documentation to ensure all underwriting conditions and investor requirements have been met. Prepare and forward all necessary closing documents to closing agent. Complete proper documentation and recording of closed loans based on underwriting requirements and lending policies.
- Coordinate operations with outside agencies/services as needed to ensure smooth lending process for members. Approves payment to third party vendors entitled to payment as required.
- Process denial in accordance with credit union and regulatory policies as needed.
- Monitor and disburse funds to title companies for construction draw requests.
- Back-up Mortgage Lending Specialist position as needed.
- Cross-sell products and services when appropriate.
- Assist in any area as directed by management.
