Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance, ensuring seamless coordination and high-quality service delivery
- Develop and implement operational strategies to maximize revenue, improve guest satisfaction, and enhance overall hotel performance
- Oversee expense control to meet financial targets while maintaining service excellence
- Manage human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development to build a motivated and skilled team
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hospitality regulations; conduct regular audits including night audit procedures for financial accuracy
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring personalized service that exceeds expectations
- Utilize hospitality management software and multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette to facilitate efficient communication
- Oversee guest services operations including reservations, check-in/check-out procedures, and handling guest inquiries with professionalism in multiple languages or bilingual settings when applicable
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a hospitality or hotel management environment with demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Extensive hotel experience across various departments such as front desk operations, guest services, or resort management
- Strong background in hospitality management principles including revenue management, budgeting, human resources, and customer service excellence
- Familiarity with hotel management systems, multi-line phone systems, night audit processes, and front desk operations
- Exceptional communication skills
- Experience in managing large teams within a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of hospitality and guest satisfaction
