Position Summary:
We are seeking a caring and reliable Part-Time Early Childhood Closers to join our team. The closer plays a key role in the afternoon program, ensuring children end their day in a safe and supportive environment. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children and is looking for steady part-time hours.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old during afternoon activities.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
- Support children during transitions, snack, and pick-up time.
- Communicate positively with children, families, and staff.
- Ensure smooth closing procedures for the classroom and center.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with young children preferred.
- Friendly, patient, and dependable personality.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff.
- Must be at least 18 years old; high school diploma or equivalent required.
