What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Teacher/Floater for 2026/2027 School Year position at Mid-Island Y JCC?
The Mid Island Y JCC is seeking a candidate who loves children, is a self-starter, responsible, punctual, tidy, a team player and someone who can support the lead teacher effectively. You must understand the needs of children in your desired age group and know how to keep their environment in good order.
Requirements:
- knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for the age group they are working with and the
- NYS OCFS Regulations
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Previous experience working with children preferred
