Mid-Continent Group is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Information Technology team. The successful candidate will perform analysis of business processes and data to identify problems and opportunities, collaborate in the development of innovative solutions, and manage projects to improve organizational performance and achieve strategic goals. This individual will work a hybrid schedule from our downtown Tulsa office.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements from stakeholders for new products, services, or processes.
- Recognize gaps between a business's current state and desired state and identify areas for improvement.
- Process, interpret, and document business data to find trends, patterns, and areas needing improvement.
- Recommend and evaluate solutions, which may include new software, process changes, or organizational improvements.
- Serve as a liaison between the business and IT teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of needs and solutions.
- Analyze and document existing business processes and recommend ways to enhance their efficiency and effectiveness.
- Oversee and monitor projects from conception to implementation and review results.
Job Requirements
- Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.
- Generally, 6 years of experience using application software in a business setting or designing, configuration/coding, testing, data mapping, documenting, and/or maintaining applications required.
- Experience with SharePoint, SQL Server, and Azure DevOps (ADO) is preferred.
