ELV Tire Dismantler

Overview
The ELV Tire Dismantler is responsible for safely dismantling tires from end-of-life vehicles, ensuring proper handling and disposal of materials. Your efforts will contribute to sustainable recycling practices and environmental responsibility. Responsibilities

• Use appropriate tools and machinery to remove tires safely while adhering to safety protocols.
• Conduct cleaning and sanitation of work areas to maintain a safe and organized environment.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of tires using heavy lifting techniques and equipment.
• Ensure proper disposal or recycling of tire materials in compliance with environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of dismantling activities, including quantities processed and safety checks.

Skills

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes related to tire dismantling or recycling industries.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures and environmental safety standards.
• Excellent attention to detail for handling materials carefully and maintaining cleanliness.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively.

Working Conditions

• Requires standing for long periods of time, walking on uneven ground, bending, twisting, lifting up to 50 lbs, operating small machinery and tools with hands.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
• Work is performed in an industrial environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
