About the Role
An attorney with one to five years' experience to join the firm as an associate attorney in our employment and litigation practices. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, work closely with colleagues, and develop strong client relationships in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Counsel clients in day-to-day employment issues, including FMLA administration, ADA accommodations, background check compliance, employee handbooks, internal investigations, union contract issues, vaccination policies, non-compete agreements, wage & hour matters, and FLSA, DOL, and OSHA investigations.
- Defend clients in employment-related claims, such as discrimination, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and unemployment compensation claims.
- Provide support to other attorneys in the litigation of various civil and commercial cases, and administrative and regulatory proceedings.
- Handle trial preparation, including drafting discovery requests, briefs, and motions.
- Represent clients at depositions, hearings, and trials.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including contracts, agreements, pleadings, and memoranda.
- Deliver seminars, webinars, and written updates on the evolving employment law issues.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Admission to practice law in Pennsylvania
- One to five years of relevant legal experience
