As a Logistics Scale Clerk, you'll play a vital role in our shipping operations by accurately weighing incoming and outgoing trucks and maintaining meticulous records. Your excellent customer service skills will ensure smooth interactions with drivers and visitors.
What You'll Do:
- Greet and guide all visitors upon arrival.
- Coordinate with carriers and third-party logistics providers.
- Communicate effectively with customers, carriers, drivers, and visitors.
- Support the driver manager/dispatcher, warehouse team, and others to meet schedules.
- Gather and record essential information accurately.
- Prepare and distribute shipping documentation.
- Keep our computer systems and spreadsheets up-to-date.
- Operate standard office equipment (photocopiers, printers, scanners).
- Adhere to all established procedures.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for weighing inbound and outbound shipments.
- Handle other tasks as needed to support the team.
