Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Maintain public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting floors regularly.
• Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products to ensure guest comfort and operational readiness.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance issues or safety hazards and report them promptly for resolution.
• Follow established protocols for industrial cleaning tasks using specialized equipment to ensure deep sanitation when necessary.
• Support housekeeping management with inventory tracking and adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning or custodial roles; hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, industrial cleaning methods, and janitorial practices.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively; familiarity with floor care machinery is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and moving heavy items when required.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team within a fast-paced environment.
