Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards.
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as towels, toiletries, and refreshments.
- Perform floor care duties including vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and spot cleaning to maintain pristine surfaces.
- Handle janitorial tasks efficiently by disposing of trash, cleaning windows, dusting surfaces, and maintaining storage closets.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and stored properly after each shift.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly to ensure swift resolution.
- Assist with additional housekeeping duties during busy periods or special events to support overall hotel operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning tools and janitorial supplies to ensure effective sanitation.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior hospitality or hotel experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is valued.
