The DIMM Module Development Group drives innovation in memory and storage technologies, supporting high‑performance computing, AI, and next‑generation data centers. The team focuses on developing advanced module solutions through automation, validation, and data‑driven engineering.

In this role, the Intern Automation Engineer supports the design, development, and implementation of automation solutions that enhance module validation and engineering workflows. This position provides hands‑on experience with scripting, data analysis, and hardware testing in a collaborative engineering environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement automation scripts for testing and data collection in DIMM module validation.
  • Assist in designing automated test setups to streamline module performance evaluations.
  • Partner with engineering teams to optimize workflow automation throughout the development cycle.
  • Analyze and interpret test results to support process efficiency improvements.
  • Support debugging and fixing of automation tools and document automation processes.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, MATLAB, or JavaScript.
  • Basic understanding of hardware testing methodologies and instrumentation.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and version control systems such as Git.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Cannot graduate before September 2025.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to machine learning or AI‑based automation.
  • Hands‑on experience with Python, LabVIEW, Jenkins, or other automation tools.
