Micron Technology is seeking a skilled Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Coordinator to support our Operations and Maintenance team in Boise, Idaho. In this role, you will oversee and coordinate all aspects of instrumentation and control systems across the site.
Responsibilities include asset management, maintenance scheduling, system upgrades, troubleshooting, and coordination of external service providers. You will help ensure reliable operation of complex I&C systems while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining compliance with all applicable standards.

Responsibilities
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of safety protocols, procedures, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements.
- Lead multiple priorities with excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
- Coordinate installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair activities related to instrumentation and control systems.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for third‑party vendors, ensuring maintenance and project activities occur safely and without interrupting facility operations.
- Support system upgrades, integration efforts, and performance improvements.
- Partner closely with operations and engineering teams to ensure system reliability and performance targets are met.
- Translate complex technical data into actionable insights for both technical and non‑technical partners.
- Collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams, fostering strong working relationships.
- Present system updates, technical information, and project recommendations clearly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to I&C assets, maintenance activities, and system changes.
- Associate degree in Applied Science or a related technical field or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience working with instrumentation and control systems.
- At least 2 years of experience in installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting of industrial control or automation systems.
- 4 years of experience with instrumentation and control systems in an industrial environment.
- 4 years of experience installing, commissioning, or repairing I&C devices and control systems.
- Advanced certification such as NICET, ISA, or manufacturer-specific training in instrumentation or control systems.
- Experience with PLCs, remote I/O, HMI/SCADA platforms, communication protocols, and process instrumentation.
