What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director, Workforce Innovation & AI position at Micron Technology?
Strategic Leadership & Advisory: Provide senior-level coordination, strategic mentorship, and thought leadership across the Workforce AI & People Analytics organization, People Programs and the People Staff leadership team and actively participate in the development and execution of long-term strategies that align with corporate objectives. Innovation & Emerging Trends: Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with industry leaders and experts. Lead the identification and integration of emerging trends in HR technology, artificial intelligence, workforce productivity, and outstanding HR practices to drive innovation and competitive advantage. Technology & Process Transformation: Identify, evaluate, and facilitate the implementation of new ideas, methods, and technologies to meet the evolving needs of the workforce and organizational strategy. AI & Automation Strategy: Explore and champion the use of AI/ML to automate low-value, repetitive tasks, freeing up capacity for strategic, human-centered work. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Champion cross-functional collaboration with business, HR, and technology teams to ensure seamless global rollout and integration of AI productivity tools and agentic automation solutions. Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration across the organization. Innovation Roadmap Management: Own and manage the HR Innovation roadmap, including timelines, dependencies, and customer alignment to ensure successful delivery of key initiatives. At least 10 years of experience in delivering technical solutions in an enterprise environment. Experience with the following systems is highly beneficial: Workday, Eightfold, Visier, ServiceNow, Glint, Microsoft O365 and Copilot Subject matter expertise in Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning & Development or Total Rewards Extensive experience as a consultant and facilitator, with a demonstrated ability to influence senior customers and drive organizational change. Intellectual curiosity and passion for learning to stay at the forefront of the latest behavioral science and organizational performance research and trends. A bachelor's degree (or equivalent professional experience). Exceptional business acumen to build relationships and effectively influence senior customers and external partners. Commitment to continual learning demonstrated through ongoing education or self-directed learning. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Willingness to travel internationally up to 20% to fulfill the role's responsibilities.
