Micromerch is seeking a talented Production Artist to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio. This on-site role serves a critical function in the production of branded merchandise for our customers. As a full-time Production Artist at Micromerch, you’ll work with our Account Management team to bring customers’ vision to life while utilizing all of your graphic arts skills. With an expansive product catalog, you will be presented with new challenges and opportunities to grow daily.

Responsibilities
- Create photorealistic mockup images for customer approval prior to production starting.
- Determine the ideal dimensions for customers’ art on physical products, based on the selected decoration method and available space.
- Prepare vector and raster art files using Adobe Creative Suite software to ensure production readiness.
- Convert brands’ hexadecimal color codes to Pantone Matching System (PMS) values that we use to mix inks, match thread colors, and ensure consistency on every order.
- Collaborate with customer teams and factory partners to determine the best decoration methods and colors for the artwork provided.
- Review proofs and pre-production samples from factories and approve for production if it meets our standards and requirements.
- Resize high-resolution product photography using Adobe Photoshop to be uploaded on customers’ online stores.
- Maintain impeccable organization of art files, templates, and other assets to continually improve our operations.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3 years in a graphic design or production art role
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop software, but also able to use Figma and Canva when necessary.
- Knowledge of promotional products industry including common decoration methods, how imprint templates work, and how files need to be submitted
- Exceptional attention to detail and standards of excellence to ensure our finished products look exactly like what the customer ordered.
- Effective at handling multiple requests simultaneously, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
- Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership and responsibility in following through on commitments.
