Dental Lab Shipping/Receiving Clerk

We are looking for a determined, high energy, well organized individual for the Shipping/Receiving Clerk position at our Ward Dental Laboratory in Brighton, Michigan.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare material for shipping by weighing, packaging, stamping, and preparing necessary shipping forms such as invoices and shipping labels
• Disinfect all incoming cases following laboratory safety processes
• Assemble and fill boxes with items that need to be shipped
• Unload, sort, and prioritize incoming packages for case entry
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
• Provide exceptional customer service via phone, in-person and by email
• Provide support to employees and managers in the handling of all shipping related activities, including routing internal drivers for package pickup and delivery
• All other duties as assigned or as otherwise required

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of dental lab products, materials, and techniques preferred
• Basic computer knowledge with ability to learn new programs
• Ability to communicate effectively with others both written and verbal
• High attention to detail with the upmost accuracy is required
• Understanding of general administrative policies and procedures
• Self-motivated with strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high volume environment.
• Maintain clean equipment and work area
• Ability to stand for long periods of time; Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Team Player a MUST
• High school diploma or equivalent required
