We are seeking an R&D Lab Coordinator to play a key role in supporting daily laboratory operations and ensuring the Research and Development team has the equipment, materials, and resources needed to succeed. This role is designed for an individual passionate for organization and coordination of laboratory operations, maintaining equipment and supplies, and supporting product testing and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Help ensure laboratory operations run efficiently through inventory management and equipment coordination.
- Support scientists and cross functional teams by maintaining laboratory readiness and supply availability.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen laboratory organization, efficiency, and consistency.
- Assist with product testing and validation activities that support new product development.
- Play an important role in maintaining a safe, organized, and high quality laboratory environment.
What You'll Do
Laboratory Operations
- Maintain laboratory inventory by ordering, receiving, organizing, and tracking reagents, media, and laboratory supplies.
- Coordinate supply requisitions while receiving and inspecting purchased and prepared materials to ensure quality, compliance, identification, and traceability.
- Perform general laboratory responsibilities including cleaning, environmental monitoring, autoclaving, reagent preparation, and maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies.
- Coordinate preventative maintenance and routine verification of laboratory equipment, including pipettes.
- Monitor equipment performance and ensure repairs and maintenance needs are addressed promptly.
- Support laboratory readiness by maintaining equipment schedules and operational workflows.
- Assist with project related production and laboratory testing activities as workload allows, including microbial growth, dilution, plating, bacterial enumeration, product performance testing, and prototype packaging and labeling.
- Identify opportunities to improve laboratory processes related to inventory management, laboratory scheduling, preventative maintenance, and operational workflows.
- Support validation testing and special projects across departments as assigned.
- Perform laboratory activities in accordance with laboratory protocols, standard operating procedures, and company policies.
- Accurately document results and initiate documentation updates when appropriate.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment while following all safety requirements.
