- Perform essential quality control testing on microbiological and molecular products
- Help ensure compliance with product specifications, procedures, and regulatory standards
- Support a robust Quality System through accurate testing and documentation
- Contribute to the reliability and integrity of products used by customers worldwide
What You’ll Do
Quality Control Testing & Analysis
- Perform quality control testing on microorganisms and molecular products in accordance with approved specifications
- Conduct automated and manual testing, troubleshooting issues as needed and reporting concerns to leadership
- Operate laboratory equipment such as identification instrumentation, enumeration equipment, and balances
- Apply analytical methods and logic to evaluate results and determine product acceptance
- Accurately document test results in a timely manner according to company policies and procedures
- Recognize out-of-specification results and make appropriate notifications in accordance with established procedures
- Maintain familiarity with product inserts, CLSI standards, and applicable government regulations
- Support documentation requirements within a regulated Quality System
- Perform quality checks to ensure proper functioning of instruments, reagents, and procedures
- Follow all laboratory safety practices, PPE requirements, and waste disposal guidelines
- Work regularly with Risk Group I and II microorganisms in a laboratory environment
- Communicate and collaborate with key company personnel
- Attend department and company meetings as requested
- Perform other quality control or departmental duties as assigned

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
