We’re seeking a hands-on, solutions-driven technician to lead prototype development, process improvements, and tooling design. If you thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced setting and enjoy seeing your work directly influence production and product innovation, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
- Design and fabricate prototypes, tooling, and fixtures using manual and CNC equipment
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and refine manufacturing processes
- Support new product development and continuous improvement initiatives
- Create and update CAD models and drawings (SolidWorks preferred)
- Assist with equipment repair and process documentation
- Partner with supply chain to support design changes and supplier development
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in machining, manufacturing, or mechanical/electronics technology
- 3 years in a manufacturing environment with CNC and manual machining experience
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM (SolidWorks, FeatureCAM preferred)
- Strong skills in process development, fixture design, and blueprint reading
- Experience with inspection tools and statistical process control (SPC, DOE a plus)
