Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Experienced Escrow Officer to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will manage all aspects of escrow transactions, ensuring smooth and accurate processing from start to finish. Your expertise will facilitate seamless property closings by coordinating with lenders, real estate agents, and clients while adhering to industry regulations and company policies. Duties
- Manage the entire escrow process, including opening, processing, and closing real estate transactions efficiently and accurately
- Review and verify all documentation related to escrow files, such as purchase agreements, title reports, loan documents, and contracts
- Coordinate with lenders, title companies, real estate agents, surveyors and clients to ensure timely communication and resolution of issues
- Prepare and review settlement statements, ensuring accuracy in financial calculations using SoftPro closing software
- Facilitate escrow account management by monitoring disbursements, reconciling accounts, and ensuring adherence to contractual obligations
- Oversee review and delivery of title commitments to all parties
- Assist with curative title work as needed
- Preparation of Closing Disclosure, and other closing documents.
- Survey plat/field notes review and approval.
- Contact customers with questions and issues to resolve.
- Balance file, prepare documents for recording
Experience
- At least three years of proven experience as an Escrow Officer or in a similar role within the financial services or mortgage industry
- Demonstrated proficiency in escrow management software and MS Office
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and external partners
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all aspects of escrow transactions
