We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our 3rd shift team in Leominster, MA. This senior-level position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge of electro-mechanical systems, precision troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with other team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on advanced machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex electro-mechanical issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective, long-term solutions.
- Repair and replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to enhance machine performance, reliability, and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory for senior-level oversight and operational reporting.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior mechanics and team members.
- Assist in maintaining overall facility systems, ensuring they operate at peak performance levels.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts and help drive innovation in maintenance processes and techniques.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of senior-level experience as a machine mechanic, with a focus on high-level or complex machinery such as CNC machines, robotics, and PLC-driven equipment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical components, and advanced troubleshooting techniques.
- Proven ability to read and interpret complex technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Demonstrated leadership and experience mentoring junior mechanics and leading maintenance projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to machine maintenance and repair.
