Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, technical expertise, and a commitment to ensuring the optimal functioning of all equipment and systems. This role involves managing a team of maintenance professionals, implementing maintenance strategies, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Duties
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
- Develop and implement maintenance management strategies to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
- Oversee the use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules.
- Manage HVAC systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and meet safety regulations.
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting and optimizing equipment performance.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with project management teams on facility upgrades and improvements.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including schematics, electrical work (high voltage and low voltage), and mechanical repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols while performing industrial maintenance tasks.
- Provide training to staff on proper maintenance procedures and safety practices.
Education / Work Experience:
· Education (Degree/Major) BS in Engineering or equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
· Certifications Professional certification preferred (TPM, CMRT or other relevant certification)
· Six Sigma Black or Green belt preferred
