Schedule: Monday-Friday
Salary: $18- 19 per hour

Position Overview:

We are looking for a dependable Receptionist who thrives in a technical, fast-paced environment. This front-desk role is key to supporting both the administrative and operational flow of our calibration lab. The ideal candidate will be professional, detail-oriented, and able to multitask while providing excellent customer service to clients, vendors, and internal team members.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist onsite visitors, technicians, and delivery personnel in a professional manner
• Answer, screen, and route incoming calls and emails
• Manage front-desk operations, including sign-in procedures and mail distribution
• Process calibration certificates and assist with document handling
• Coordinate order intake and assist with order status tracking
• Assist communication between customers and technicians on work orders, repairs, and updates
• Assist in maintaining equipment inventory records and organization
• Perform light administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and scanning
• Collaborate with technicians and administrative staff to ensure smooth daily workflow
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements and Skills:

• 2–3 years of continuous experience in administrative, receptionist, or front-office roles
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong attention to detail with accurate, error-free documentation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Skilled in data entry, time management, multitasking, and organization
• Professional, customer service-oriented, and positive demeanor
• Willingness to learn calibration/metrology industry concepts
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident; valid driver’s license with clean record
