Job Title: Junior Calibration Technician
Location: Chatsworth, Onsite
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Salary: $25- 35 per hour, depending on experience (DPE)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Junior Calibration Technician to support our Electrical Calibration Laboratory. This hybrid role combines hands-on technical training with administrative support. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys both technical detail and organizational tasks while building expertise in calibration.
Responsibilities:
- Receive hands-on training in calibration standards for electrical equipment (Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, HiPot testers, Accelerometers, etc.) under supervision.
- Accurately enter data, generate reports, and review calibration certificates.
- Support audits through proper documentation, recordkeeping, and compliance guidance.
- Inspect equipment, identify issues, and coordinate repairs to ensure timely turnaround.
- Monitor orders, track inventory, and prepare equipment for delivery.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling, workflow tracking, and office tasks.
- Maintain lab safety, cleanliness, organization, and prepare technical documentation as needed.
Requirements and Skills:
- Either hands-on calibration experience or an Associate’s degree (or higher) in Engineering, Physics, or related field— required.
- Proficiency in administrative tasks, including accurate typing and data entry— required.
- Calibration, Engineering, or Military PMEL/TMDE/DOD training— preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, mathematics, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs. when preparing or transporting equipment for customer visits.
- Valid driver’s license, clean record, and U.S. citizen or permanent resident status.
