Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Developing and optimizing Swiss CNC programs, machining processes, and toolpaths sheets.
• Analyzing and improving existing machine processes to increase efficiency, reduce cycle times, and minimize material waste.
• Assisting with the setup, calibration, and operation of machines, ensuring they are running accurately and safely.
• Creating and maintaining documentation related to machine programs, machine setups, and quality control procedures.
• Responsible for first run validation including program, process, setup, and production.
• Support sales through JQPM (Job quality planning meeting) to prepare for upcoming production jobs.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• 10 yrs minimum relevant work experience
• Experience with software like WIN CNC, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Esprit, or similar programs for designing parts and creating CNC programs.
  
  
  

Skills:

• Ability to write, edit, and optimize CNC programs using languages like G-code and M-code.
• Proficiency with computer applications
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to CNC machines and manufacturing processes
• Ability to effectively communicate technical information to various stakeholders and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail; ensuring accuracy and precision in all aspects of CNC programming and machining.
