Job Summary:

The Accounting Clerk reports directly to the Director of Finance and supports the department by processing daily transactions, preparing reports and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Accurately enter, post and reconcile transactions including invoices and receipts.

·         Maintain the digital financial filing systems.

·         Assist with the month-end closing process.

·         Assist with annual audits.   

·         Account reconciliation.

·         Provide backup phone support at the reception desk

·         Other duties as requested.

Required Qualifications:

·         High school diploma.

·         2 years of experience.

·         High level of attention to detail for numerical data entry.

·         Basic understanding of bookkeeping practices.

·         Strong communication skills and ability to handle confidential information.

·         Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.

·         Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

·         Experience with an ERP system.
