For over 40 years, Micro-Bac International has lead the industry in providing natural solutions for enhanced oil recovery with it’s bacterial and bio-chemical products. Micro-bac provides ecologically and environmentally sound products for cleaning up crude oil spills, paraffin build-up in oil wells, Sour Gas/Oil correction, agri-business waste, farm and agriculture, animal processing facility waste, restaurant grease traps and countless other industrial and biological waste clean up projects.

Job Summary

Utilizing our operator database you will be making cold calls to potential clients. Expect to make several dozen calls a day, and recording the company, contact, and responce from your call. Follow up with leads generated by scheduling meetings to discuss oil field treatment options. Offer oil sample tests and lab services if requested. work with the internal team to formulate a treatment program for your warm leads. Provide estimates on treatment program and check up on customers to close the deal. Follow up and manage existing customers using our internal Customer management software. Help customers solve problems with their oil wells and schedule maintance treatments.

The ideal candidate should be able to effectively participate in a remote work team with excellent communication and organizational skills. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, quick learner, with a strong attention to detail, works well in independent situations, and has the ability to build relationships with business partners and their remote team and our clients/vendors.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Be honest and responsible.
  • Participate in weekly Sales Teams meetings where we will track progress and goals through Dynamics 365 Sales.
  • Generate and follow-up with leads and new sales opportunities.
  • Serves customers by selling products and meeting customer needs.
  • Close deals, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
  • Adjusts content of sales presentations to fit the needs of the specific customer.
  • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
  • Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Provide direct management, leadership, guidance, and problem-solving direction to remote workforce of Area Managers (Peer Coaches) and Merchandisers in assigned geography to execute effectively and efficiently in the field.

Experience and Credentials

  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college, university, or technical school; or a minimum of four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience
  • Knowledge of relevant industries
  • Some direct sales experience is preferred, but not necessary
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • Proven track record of success
