Head Host/Hostess
We are looking for a Head Host/Hostess for our Pub & Crab House. Head Hostess responsibilities include but are not limited to greeting customers, escorting them to tables, monitoring seating, informing customers on wait period, making sure tables are cleaned after use, taking phone calls for reservations, and thanking customers upon departure. You will also handle our take out business which includes taking orders over the phone, taking customer payments and handling curbside takeout.
Responsibilities
- Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
- Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
- Lead Host for the restaurant where you will be responsible for all functions including but not limited to greeting customers, organizing and rotating customer seating, reservation organization, receiving and executing takeout orders, as well as updating menus and table tents
- Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant event
- Skills
- Prior restaurant experience is required
- Proven customer service experience in a restaurant setting
- Extensive food and beverage knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff
- Familiarity with restaurant POS software systems
- Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
