- Inventory Management: Receive, store, issue, and count food items and merchandise.
- Quality Control: Reconcile physical deliveries with tickets and verify product freshness.
- Stock Rotation: Maintain proper inventory levels using the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) method.
- Facilities Maintenance: Sweep, mop, and sanitize storerooms and walk-in refrigerators.
Minimum Requirements
- Graduation from high school or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.
- Working knowledge of tool nomenclature, use of stock catalogs, record keeping, and proper food safety storage methods is necessary.
- Computer familiarity may be required.
- Possession of a valid Michigan vehicle operator's license(s) is necessary.
- Frequent lifting of over 75 pounds is required.
- Inventory Pro: You have hands-on experience with ordering and inventory systems.
- Self-Starter: You take initiative and don’t wait to be told what needs to be done.
- Highly Flexible: You adapt easily to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Customer-Focused: You naturally anticipate shifts in service and customer demands.
