Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment
- Care for floors by sweeping, mopping, polishing, and applying protective treatments to maintain a spotless appearance
- Assist with furniture arrangement, replenishing supplies, and organizing storage areas to ensure efficiency and neatness
- Support housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues and replenishing amenities as needed
- Handle industrial cleaning tasks when required, including deep cleaning of carpets, upholstery, or specialized surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness standards in compliance with health and safety regulations across all assigned areas
- Support hotel staff during special events or busy periods by providing additional cleaning or logistical assistance
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality-related roles is highly desirable
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is essential
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is a strong plus, demonstrating an understanding of guest service standards
- Knowledge of custodial practices, industrial cleaning methods, and general housekeeping procedures
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
