Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detailed oriented Event Setup Crew Member to assist with the preparation and execution of events. This role involves setting up event spaces, including arranging furniture and décor while ensuring all elements meet the clients and company specifications. The ideal candidate is physically capable, works well in a team, and has a keen eye for detail.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Load, transport and unload event equipment, furniture and supplies
· Set up tables, chairs, tents and other event infrastructure according to layout plans
· Maintain a clean and organized work environment
· Set tables to specifications of floor plan/Beo
· Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth event execution.
· Execute wedding ceremony setup in a timely, professional manner that align with event specifics and organization standards
· Cover, date and neatly store all leftover products that are re-usable.
· Perform other duties as appropriate.
Education/Qualifications/Certifications
· High school required.
· Demonstrated quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
· Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends.
· Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.
· Prior experience in event setup or general labor preferred but not required.
· Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
· Team Oriented with a positive and proactive attitude
· Ability to take general direction regarding tasks
· Provide proof of a valid Driver’s License
· Reliable transportation to and from work
Preferred Qualifications
· 1 year of experience in Food and Beverage or similar event setup role
· Knowledge of basic hand tools and assembly procedures
Position Physical Requirements
Must have the ability to:

· Visually inspect all work areas
· Operate equipment for several hours at a time
· Perform mathematical calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages
· Retrieve, read and interpret information from technical sources
· Stand, sit, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, bend and kneel for up to 5 hours at a time
· Lift up to 100 lbs. occasionally, 50 lbs. frequently, and 20 lbs. constantly
Working Conditions
Work hours may include days and evenings on weekdays and weekends. Work primarily indoors in a restaurant/lounge environment, with some outdoor work involving patio, pool, and on-course service. Will be exposed to sharp utensils, extremely hot stoves and grills, sharp and rapid equipment movements, hot food, potentially dangerous chemicals and solvents on a daily basis. May be exposed, from time to time, to inclement weather, potentially dangerous pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, equipment movement hazards, and misdirected golf balls. Injury may result as a result of exposure to the above if safety policies and practices are not properly followed at all times.
