POSITION: MACHINE OPERATOR
SHIFTS:
1st: 10 hour shift 6am to 4:30pm
2nd: 10 hour shift 4:30pm to 3am or 5am
No Experience needed, will train
DETAILS
- Follows job, safety/environmental and inspection instructions per the Cell work instructions, CNC Trainer or Supervisor
- Properly completes all paperwork, including production logs and quality checks
- Prepares machine and gages for operation
- Operates CNC machine and verifies conformance of machined parts to specifications by utilizing gages
- Produces quality work meeting company and customer standards
- Produces an amount of work which meets or exceeds production standards
- Performs offset adjustments
- Follow tag procedure
- Change inserts
- Follow Housekeeping, Safety & Environmental requirements (recycling, labeling, spills and programs)
- Comply with all applicable requirements for the Quality and Environmental systems
- Continuous improvement ideas in safety, productivity, quality, housekeeping-submit to supervisor or HR Box.
- Other duties as defined by your supervisor
- Must be available for weekly overtime and weekend work.

Job Proficiency desired:
- Machine experience or trainable on CNC lathes mills, broaches.
- Perform offset adjustments
- Read and interpret gages proficiently such as; plug, snap, flush pin, go-no/go and calipers

POSITION: ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN
SHIFTS:
1st: 6:00 am – 4:30 pm
DETAILS:
1. Troubleshoot tooling, process concerns and chronic machine problems. Time split between floor and office.
2. Edit CNC programs and perform production set ups.
3. Troubleshoot electrical and electronic problems, perform PLC implementation & PLC program management.
4. Conduct studies and record operations for such factors as time, motion, method and speed to improve efficiency or establish standard production rates.
5. Conduct tool life studies and assist in analysis of information per Engineers.
6. Conduct tool life studies and assist in analysis of information per Engineers.
7. Help implement new and enhanced tool process tools.
8. Make or modify machine parts and gauging.
9. Maximizes efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization.
10. Assist in conducting capability studies and ROI analysis.
11. Participates in evaluation and selection of products for new and current processes.
12. Lead or assist with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvements (CI).
13. Identify CI opportunities and participate in problem solving teams.
14. Participate in APQP/PPAP process and implementation of new processes.

POSITION: Lab Technician / CMM
SHIFTS:
2nd: 4:30 pm – 4:00 am
DETAILS:
- Write CMM programs for new program launches based on customer specifications provided by MPM engineering department.
- Work with Engineering and Set-up department to verify that parts meet customer specifications on new program launches.
- Perform CMM or technical layout inspection on all parts as required.
- Maintain Q # Log for all complete part inspections.
- Ensure first piece approval (FPA) parts are completed in a timely manner.
- Organize the Lab and insist Lab housekeeping is maintained.
- File all Quality documents in assigned area. Files need to be organized and labeled.
- Perform LPA’s and assist with final audits, gage R&R studies and gage calibration.
- Setup gauging as required.
- Participate in quality problem solving, corrective actions and provide support to other departments.
- Communicate internal quality information between shifts.
- Communicate line-up from QA supervisor to nightshift personnel.
- Oversee completion of all assigned afternoon shift tasks.
- Report shift activities to QA supervisor.
- Follow Housekeeping, Safety (lockout/tagout) & Environmental requirements (recycling, labeling, spills and programs)
- Continuous improvement ideas in safety, productivity, quality, housekeeping
- Comply and participate in MPM housekeeping, safety and environmental polices
- Other duties as defined by your Supervisor.
NOTE: This position will train on a split shift.
POSITION: General Maintenance Technician
SHIFTS:1st: 6:00 am – 4:30 pm
DETAILS:
1. Facility Maintenance
2. Alternate for Coolant Technician
3. Perform or Assist with PM activities on equipment
4. Perform or assist with PM’s on floor scrubbers, fork-lifts, & conveyors
5. Prioritize, direct and train janitorial staff
6. Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and reorder
7. Monitor cleanliness and organization of parking lot, Cold Storage & Chemical Storage areas.
8. Enforce and adhere to all recycling requirements & complete necessary documentation
9.Customer liaison for oil, coolant and recycling vendors (order, coordinate, monitor, etc)
10.Storm Water Operator and Great Lakes Water Authority responsibilities
11. Assist Shipping and Receiving as needed.
12. Follow Housekeeping, Safety (lockout/tagout) & Environmental requirements (recycling, labeling, spills and programs)
13. Continuous improvement ideas in safety, productivity, quality, housekeeping
14. Ensure compliance to all levels of the Quality and Environmental systems
15. May drive company vehicle. Valid drivers license required.
