Michigan Orthopedic Center is a multi-physician surgical practice serving mid-Michigan since 1990. We are committed to providing state-of-the art, high quality orthopedic care and a professional, compassionate patient experience. Our subspecialty fellowship trained surgeons treat complex orthopedic surgical issues including joint replacement of the hip, knee and shoulder, foot and ankle surgery, fracture surgery, spinal surgery and sports medicine.
Applicants must have stellar customer service skills, ability to multi-task, and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment. The ability to manage workflow based on volumes is expected. Clinical Support Technician (Medical Assistant/Physical Therapy Technician duties)

Schedule: Monday–Friday (Daytime hours)
Pay: Competitive; based on experience
Position Summary
- Support patient care across clinical and physical therapy settings
- Assist with patient preparation, treatments, documentation, and clinic flow
- Responsibilities vary by department and experience
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for appointments and treatments
- Obtain and document vital signs and medical history as applicable
- Assist providers and therapists with exams, procedures, and therapy activities
- Support patients during exercises and rehabilitation sessions
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and equipment
- Document care in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and safety standards
Qualifications
- Interest in healthcare, medical assisting, or physical therapy required
- Medical Assistant education or certification preferred
- Orthopedic or clinical experience preferred
- EHR experience preferred (ModMed a plus)
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
