Required Qualifications*
Applicant Should Hold a PhD And Have
- At least two years of research experience in cellular and molecular biology, genetics, and metabolic regulation
- At least two years of experience in the cell biology of fibrosis, including pathological myofibroblast activation, endothelial-to-mesenchymal transition, and extracellular matrix remodeling
- Experience developing and using three-dimensional skin, lung, or other patient-derived organoid models to study disease mechanisms and vascular stromal interactions
- Ability to design and conduct translational studies using human biospecimens, stem-cell-derived systems, and animal models
- Facility with computational analysis and multidimensional data generation to identify molecular pathways and novel therapeutic targets in chronic fibrotic disease
- Experience with mentoring post-docs and supervising undergraduates
- Excellent written and spoken language communication skills
