OBJECTIVE

Health Sales Specialist - Mid Michigan Objective

To sell and provide marketing support for Medicare and Individual Health benefits offered by Farm Bureau Health Services, a division of Community Service Acceptance Company (CSAC) (aka FB Partners Group) including, but not limited to, Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplemental products. To maintain an understanding of the Individual Qualified Health Benefit Program offered by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (BCBSM), Priority Health and additional carriers. To assist Farm Bureau members, prospects and staff in enrolling in health plans. To maintain a working knowledge of health sales and commissions in the defined market area.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Health Sales Specialist - Mid Michigan Responsibilities

Sell Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplemental plans to those over the age of 65, focusing in specified counties. Manage books of business in both groups for all products sold and serviced by Farm Bureau Health Insurance. Assist in the sales and servicing of the Individual Qualified Health Plan market.

Work closely with management to develop a marketing plan to increase Medicare business within Farm Bureau including prospecting, educational seminars, enrollment seminars, and execution of sales to members to increase revenue.

Provide service for existing Medigap Supplemental and dental subscribers and assist them in plan changes and coverage questions.

*This is a sales position that will be on the road selling and working from home with occasional days at the Lansing home office.

QUALIFICATIONS

Health Sales Specialist - Mid Michigan Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelors degree with focus on business or insurance required, or equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum two years of experience in health insurance field required.
• Must possess a valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
• Active State of Michigan license in accident and health insurance required, or must be successfully obtained within 30 days of employment

Preferred:

• Medicare Advantage, Prescription Drug, and Supplemental sales experience preferred. 
• Live in one of the following counties: Clare, Isabella, Midland, Montcalm, Gratiot or Saginaw.

Note: This is a sales position where candidate is expected to be on the road selling (some remote work), with occasional days working in the Farm Bureau Home Office, located in Lansing MI - 1 per month. Candidate will service the following counties: Clare, Isabella, Midland, Montcalm, Gratiot and Saginaw. *Candidate must live in or close to these Michigan counties.

Michigan Accident & Health License Required at time of hire.
